The new Superbase File Engine lets you use, without limitation, the fast, flexible, and compact Superbase data format from any language which supports DLLs. To make getting started simpler, we include libraries for C, C++, Pascal/Delphi, and Visual Basic.

Network Ready
Comes with Single-User, Regular LAN (central management of locking), and Distributed LAN (directory-level management of locking). Install whichever version best meets your needs.

Superbase File Format
The Superbase file format is a robust, established, and highly powerful record-based format which includes variable length records and fields, field-level constants, calculations, and validations, and support for virtual (non-stored) fields.

Low Overhead
The Superbase File Engine only requires 200K of memory to provide you with all of these features

System Requirements
Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher running in standard or enhanced mode.
PC using Intel 386 or higher processor.
DOS 3.3 or higher.
1 MB RAM.
1 MB available disk space.
High density floppy disk drive for installation (3.5 inch).

Availability
Currently, the File Engine product has not been released. When it is released in the future, it will be available via traditional channels.
